WHAT’S NEW IN OUR REGION

*Gentille Ntibagirigwa sent a report from Bujumbura, Burundi, about the learning difficulties encountered by displaced children who live in a camp for displaced people in Kivoga. She says that the bad conditions these children live in do not allow them to learn properly.

*From Rwanda, Yvette Umugwaneza filed a report on a new project launched by the ministry of education and the international food organization PAM. The project is about serving lunch in elementary schools so hat children won’t have to go home for lunch. YOUTH TOPIC

*In his report, Jean-Baptiste Nimubona talked about how young people from different ethnic groups in Burundi are trying to reconcile by learning how to forgive each other. *From Ruhengeri, Rwanda , Olivier Isata filed a report on the inauguration of a new center for children coming back home from refuge, children who used to be in armed groups.
